Primed or paint grade
A smooth prepared face supplied primed or paint grade where the approved door construction permits the final decorative coats to be completed on site.
Choose from factory-applied colour, natural and stained wood veneers, hard-wearing laminates, decorative foils, lacquered surfaces and preparation for site finishing.
These finish families are widely available on tested fire-door constructions. The exact product, thickness, adhesive and edge detail are confirmed against the selected door leaf's current certification and field of application before manufacture.

A hard-wearing decorative finish with consistent colour and grain, well suited to repeatable doorset schedules and busy commercial interiors.
Standard-duty decorative foil and embossed grain-effect surfaces offering repeatable timber looks and coordinated colours without natural veneer variation.
The fire certification applies to the complete, tested door construction—not a colour or decorative finish in isolation. We therefore check every proposed face material and coating against the required FD rating, door core, facings, lippings, adhesive, glazing, seals, hardware and intended use. Some options may not be available on every FD30, FD60, FD90 or FD120 configuration.
We can review colour codes, veneer species and laminate references against the proposed certified doorset.
