Crafted in our
London workshop

At Hassock Wood, we create bespoke kitchens for homes across London and the surrounding areas. We do not work through a showroom network or pass your project between separate departments. We design, make and install your kitchen ourselves, giving you one clear point of contact and a more personal experience from the beginning.

Every detail, from the cabinet carcass to the painted finish, is considered carefully before it reaches your home. The result is a kitchen that feels genuinely bespoke, because it has been designed around your space, your routines and the way you want to live every day.

From timeless Shaker kitchens to clean contemporary styles, every kitchen starts with how the room needs to feel and function. We help you compare layouts, finishes and practical details so the final design feels right in your own home, not just on a screen.

Want to understand what may be possible?

Send us your room size, plans or a few photos and we can talk you through the options. There is no pressure or obligation; it simply helps us understand your space and guide you properly.

Start the conversation

Designed, made &
installed by one team

From the first design conversation to the final installation, your kitchen is handled by our own London-based team.

Your cabinetry is manufactured in our London workshop and fitted by the people responsible for creating it, giving you a more consistent, personal experience throughout the project.

No showroom handovers. No pressure-led sales process. Just one team focused on creating a kitchen that feels right for your home.

Designed to be felt, not just seen

A kitchen is something you touch and use every day. The weight of a door, the smooth close of a drawer, the feel of a painted finish and the way a worktop catches the light all shape how the room feels to live in.

Because we do not work from a traditional showroom, we bring the material conversation to you. During the design stage, we can help you compare door styles, colours, handles, worktops and practical finishes in the setting of your own home.

You can see how samples respond to your natural light, flooring and existing surroundings before key decisions are made.

Details that define the kitchen

A bespoke kitchen is defined by the details you notice every day, from the precision of the cabinetry to the feel of every drawer, hinge and painted surface.

We consider how cupboards open, how storage works, where appliances sit and how the kitchen will feel when you are cooking, gathering or simply moving through the room.

Finishes tailored to your home

From subtle painted tones to textured wood and stone-effect finishes, every kitchen can be tailored to suit the character of your home. Samples can be reviewed in your own light before production begins, helping you make confident choices before anything is made.

The kitchen design visit, brought to your home

Choosing a kitchen is easier when the conversation happens in the room it will belong to. Your home design visit gives you time to talk through ideas, compare samples in your own light and understand how the full project can come together, without the pressure of a showroom appointment.

A calm, practical design conversation

We take time to understand how you use the space, what currently works, what feels frustrating and what you would like the kitchen to improve.

We can discuss layout, storage, door styles, handles, worktops, appliances, lighting and the smaller details that make a kitchen feel comfortable to live with every day.

If you are still at the early idea stage, that is completely fine. The visit is there to help shape the project gradually and clearly.

Questions we are often asked

Do you design and build bespoke kitchens in London?

Yes. We design, machine, assemble, finish and install bespoke kitchens from our own London workshop. We work with homes across London and the surrounding areas, giving you one team from the first design conversation through to final installation.

Do you bring samples to the home design visit?

Yes. We can bring selected door finishes, colours, handles and material samples to your home, helping you see how they look and feel in your own light and surroundings.

How do you replace the need for a showroom?

We focus on a more personal design experience. The website shows kitchen styles and close-up detail, then the home visit allows you to handle samples, compare finishes and talk through how the kitchen will feel to use every day.

Will I deal with the same people throughout?

Yes. Your project is handled by one dedicated team from the first design conversation through to manufacture, installation and support after installation. That means fewer handovers and a clearer, more personal process.

Can you help with worktops, appliances, tiling and electrics?

Yes. We can talk through worktop options, appliance planning, lighting, sockets, plumbing, tiling and finishing details. We will also explain what we handle directly and where trusted specialist trades may be involved.

What if I do not know exactly what I want yet?

That is completely normal. Many projects begin with rough ideas, inspiration photos or simple measurements. The consultation helps shape the layout, style, materials and practical details at a comfortable pace.

Can you make a kitchen to fit an awkward space?

Yes. Bespoke kitchens are ideal for unusual layouts, period properties, uneven walls, alcoves and rooms where standard cabinet sizes do not make the best use of the space.

What kitchen styles can Hassock Wood make?

We can make a wide range of kitchen styles, including Shaker kitchens, handleless kitchens, in-frame kitchens, slab kitchens and more traditional country-style kitchens.

Can I choose my own kitchen colour and finish?

Yes. Your kitchen can be tailored with painted finishes, natural wood veneers, textured panels and modern matt finishes. We can help you choose a finish that suits your home and the way you want the room to feel.

What do you need to quote for a bespoke kitchen?

Measurements, photos and a rough idea of the layout, style and appliances you want are a good starting point. From there, we can discuss storage, finishes, appliances and the level of detail needed for your kitchen. There is no pressure or obligation at this stage.
